Rubik's Re-brand
Branding and Identity

While Rubik's Cubes are iconic their brand messaging and style was inconsistent and needed updating to stand out in a market place flooded with competitors and fakes.

I created a new brand style emphasising Rubik's as the 'Original Cube' with the design focused around the bold Rubik's Cube colours, shape, and dynamic movement. Alongside this, developing three posters to demonstrate the new Rubik’s Brand style. Both the poster campaign and the updated brand style have been informed by online research and focus groups to better target the Rubik’s core market audience.

As part of the wider project, my team at SDM worked alongside Harry, from Fresh Films to create new Rubik's Brand photography that was no longer studio-based, reflected the new brand guidelines and introduced Rubik’s as a lifestyle brand.
